Power Plugs

Wall sockets in Vietnam are fitted for two-pronged power adaptors. Plugs type A (two flat vertical pins mainly used in the USA, Canada, Mexico & Japan), type C (used in Africa, parts of Europe and the Middle East) and type F (two round pins, and mainly used in Eastern and Central Europe ) will fit most electrical outlets in Vietnam.

Outlets are set to 220 volts at 50Hz. You may want to buy charging adaptors or voltage adapters if you are coming from a country where 110 volts is the standard charge.
